Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Linka API, console, and website at linka.ink (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Little Random Ventures Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Linka", "we", "us"). By creating an account, topping up credits, or calling the API, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The Service

Linka is a unified inference gateway: a single, OpenAI-compatible API that relays your requests to large language models operated by third-party providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Meta, Mistral, Qwen, and xAI) and returns their responses in a consistent format. We are an aggregator and relay. We do not train, fine-tune, or operate the underlying models ourselves, and model outputs are generated by the upstream provider that serves your request.

2. Accounts and API keys

You must provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API keys, whether or not authorized by you. Keep your keys confidential, do not embed them in client-side code or public repositories, and notify us immediately at support@linka.ink if a key is compromised. We may suspend keys that are leaked, shared, or used abusively.

3. Prepaid credits and payment

The Service is billed exclusively through prepaid credits. One (1) credit equals one US dollar (US$1.00) of usage. You top up your balance in advance, in any amount from $10; payments are processed by Stripe. Each API request deducts credits from your balance in real time at the per-token rates published at linka.ink/pricing for the model that served the request.

• Credits never expire, and no subscription is required.
• Published rates may change when upstream providers change their pricing; the current rate card on the pricing page always applies to subsequent requests.
• Bonus credits granted on qualifying top-ups are promotional, carry no cash value, and are non-refundable.
• Prices are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, including VAT.
• Refunds of unused credits are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• generate, solicit, or distribute illegal content of any kind — including any child sexual abuse material, for which we have zero tolerance and which we report to the relevant authorities;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk communications;
• create or distribute malware, phishing, fraud, or disinformation content;
• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or data-protection rights;
• attempt to probe, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service or its upstream providers, or to circumvent rate limits or billing;
• misrepresent AI-generated output as human-generated where doing so is deceptive or unlawful; or
• violate the usage policies of the upstream provider serving your request, which apply to your use in addition to these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, without refund where the breach is material.

5. Upstream providers

Your requests are processed by third-party providers over whose infrastructure we have no control. We are not responsible for the availability, latency, accuracy, or content of model outputs. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or offensive; you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them and for ensuring your use complies with applicable law and the relevant upstream provider's terms.

6. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-efforts basis. We target high availability and maintain automatic fallbacks across providers, but we provide no service-level agreement, uptime guarantee, or compensation for outages. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where practicable.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, the website, and the documentation. As between you and Linka, you retain your inputs and, to the extent permitted by the applicable upstream provider's terms, the outputs generated for you. You grant us the limited right to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

8. Data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your prompts or completions to train models, and we do not sell your data.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MODEL OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linka's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time; unused credits are handled under the Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach of these Terms, fraud or chargeback abuse, or where continued access creates risk for us, other customers, or upstream providers.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
